With 14+ digital products launched and 3 successful exits, he blends military discipline with startup velocity to architect outcomes, not just features.
He partners with founders, operators, and investors to shape product-first strategies, go from zero to one, unlock growth, and build teams where execution is the culture.
Joaquim owns the full product cycle, from customer discovery to roadmap definition to GTM execution, while coaching founders and teams on how to move fast, iterate smart, and win.
As a former Navy officer who served on global missions for 7 years, Joaquim brings a unique operating system to the startup world: method, resilience, and relentless focus.
He advises venture-backed startups, accelerators, and early-stage funds on product strategy, PLG, and founder enablement. He’s also building Battlefield Capital, a founder-led investment platform for bold startups in B2B SaaS, AI, and frontier tech.
Previously, Joaquim has worked across multiple roles, founder, advisor, CPO, mentor, helping early-stage startups raise capital, enter new markets, and refine their positioning. He actively contributes to programs that help founders go from idea to MVP to funding.
He has lived and worked in Portugal, UK, Spain and France with projects spanning over 20 countries. Based in Portimão, South of Portugal, he continues to operate at the intersection of product, strategy, and venture, always on a mission to build what matters.
